Open Positions at Mundie Source
Please read the description of each position carefully!
Guest Bloggers: Mundie Source is accepting applications for guest bloggers on a rolling basis. Each week, we hope to feature a different fan of the books who will be “spotlighted,” so to speak, and asked to write a post about a certain topic pertaining to the books. This is a one-time position, unless you think you have a good idea for a series of posts, in which case a special spot on the team can be negotiated. If you think you have a good topic for a guest blog post, please e-mail dorothy@mundiesource.net with “Guest Blogger” in the subject line, along with your suggested topic and a little bit about yourself. If you don’t have a topic but would like to be given a topic, send an e-mail with a little about yourself and what you think makes The Mortal Instruments unique.
Content Contributors: Content Contributors are responsible for going through the books and finding quotes, character information, and other things that are relevant to the content of the site. They do not have posting access to the site, but will be listed as Contributors on the website. If you have an eye for details and love to re-read The Mortal Instruments and The Infernal Devices, send an e-mail to dorothy@mundiesource.net with “Content Contributor” in the subject, a little bit about yourself and what you see yourself doing for the site (quotes, characters, etc.).
Media Contributors: Media Contributors are in charge of scouring the internet and posting new articles, reviews, and information related to Cassandra Clare, The Mortal Instruments, and The Infernal Devices. They would have basic posting access to the site and should have some knowledge of how to format in WordPress. They will also be listed and linked to on the Contributors page. If you think you have the ability to help out with media contribution, e-mail dorothy@mundiesource.net with “Media Contributor” in the subject line, a little bit about yourself, and why you should be part of the team.
Don’t stress out over it! Some of it is basically just meant to be a writing sample, and when you’re brought on to the team, you will get to write a short bio to go on the Contributor page.
